EARTH ANGEL’S EÓIN
2006-2011
15 years ago, we lost our beloved freckle-faced boy, Eóin.
True to the meaning of his Gaelic name, Eóin was indeed a “blessing from Jehovah”. Being our first English Shepherd in itself guarantees an irreplaceable spot in our hearts. He was one of those magnificent Sheppies we feel deserve a page in the “Great English Shepherds” storybook, if such a thing existed.
Eóin had a personality as big as all outdoors, with a heart to match – hardworking, loving, playful, loyal, always watching out for us, and highly intuitive.
Eóin was a remarkable soul who indelibly touched the hearts of many… and changed the minds of a few others. Without a doubt, he forever changed our lives for the better.
Because of Eóin, we learned how to share life with a dog.
Because of Eóin, we learned about dog communication and behavior.
Because of Eóin, we learned about Natural Rearing and Animal Naturopathy.
Because of Eóin, we decided to become English Shepherd breeders.
Because of Eóin, we established this ranch… and are still here.
It’s amazing how far-reaching the effects of one dog can be. He was our teacher dog, for sure. We are eternally grateful for and to him.
